“The spa has been transformed with changes from our name and ambiance to our innovative treatment menu and wellness concepts,” explained our Director of Spa and Recreation Leslie Johnson.  “Our guests will find a new resource to be inspired, be active and be well.”
A floor-to-ceiling remodeling of the interior created a comfortable and soothing environment in a color scheme that connects guests with the hues of the surrounding nature.
The new menu embodies a luxury wellness concept engineered to create unique experiences for each guest’s personal preferences, desires and well-being. It employs the healing power of touch and authentic engagement in conjunction with organic, raw, vegan and gluten-free products. The menu features current and ancient body-work techniques, and the latest noninvasive skin care technology such as the award winning HydraFacial® Skin Resurfacing, NuFace Micro-Current Lift, and High Frequency-Light and Oxygen Therapies.
Among the highlights of the menu:
– Legendary Therapies, traditional techniques with a distinctive Spa Biltmore touch, including Turquoise Sage Stone full-body massage that synchronizes massage techniques, warm basalt stones and sage and lavender essential oils to bring soothing relief.
–  Body Treatments such as Volcanic Sand Meets Red Clay Detox. Gentle volcanic sand and Moroccan argon oil are used to exfoliate while rich red clay absorbs impurities, followed by customized body work during a warm, moisturizing body wrap with aromatic Egyptian geranium and avocado lotion.
The final component of the total changeover was to give the spa a new name, Spa Biltmore, which reflects its redefined contemporary persona, stylish new image and innovative menu.
The remodel of the spa created a fresh, new look in keeping with the multi-million-dollar renovation recently completed at the iconic Arizona Biltmore. The revamp of the resort brought modern and refined accommodations and facilities, while preserving the historic architecture and design – including the original Frank Lloyd Wright style of organically incorporating the natural environment – that distinguish the grand dame of Phoenix.
