The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix’s Connect volunteer group will host its 9th annual Birdies & Greens Golf Classic on December 12 at 12 p.m.

Birdies & Greens Golf Classic will feature a delightful lunch from Gainey Ranch’s Clubhouse Kitchen and will include award festivities, fabulous raffle prizes as well as the opportunity to win prizes for longest drive, closest-to-the-pin and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. This year’s event will be held at Gainey Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, located at 7600 E. Gainey Club Drive.

“Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and successful adults,” said Justin Low, Connect president. “One way we can do this is by gathering support from our neighbors and, in hopes, the whole Valley for our after-school and summer programs. Each year, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix challenges itself to go beyond what we raised in the prior years and we simply cannot do that without you.”

Entry fees are $200 for individuals and $800 per foursome. Green fees, golf carts, range balls, lunch and award festivities are included in the entry fees. There are also additional sponsorship opportunities available. For more information about the event, how to register and/or become a sponsor, please visit www.bgcmp.org/birdies-greens/.

The mission of Connect is to ensure opportunities for kids in need. For the past five years, the group has raised nearly $700,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix. Annually, the group manages five major fundraising campaigns to raise at least $125,000: The Big Event, Hearts-4-Clubs, Birdies and Greens Golf Classic and the Leadership Council.
