U.S. News & World Report, a nationally recognized publisher of consumer advice and information, ranked Casino Del Sol Resort in the top two percent of the more than 1,300 hotels in the state that were evaluated for their Best Arizona Hotels list.

Casino Del Sol Resort was awarded during the publication’s annual evaluation of hotels that offer high-quality amenities and exceptional experiences. Additionally, the award-winning resort was the only Tucson casino resort that was ranked on the Best Tucson Hotels list, earning a U.S. News Silver badge.

“We are immensely proud to rank this high, especially since we are at 96 percent occupancy virtually every day,” said, Kimberly Van Amburg, Casino Del Sol Resort’s CEO. “This prestigious award is truly a testament to our team, and what a great job they do day in and day out to provide luxurious accommodations, superior service, and first-rate amenities to our valued guests.”

The Best Hotels methodology combines a hotel’s industry accolades with expert and guest reviews and hotel class ratings. U.S. News scored luxury hotels, identifying the top 10 percent in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean with Gold badges and the top 30 percent within specific markets with Silver badges. The rankings feature more than 2,500 hotels across the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

“Travelers don’t have to waste time searching for a great hotel,” said Erin Shields, travel editor for U.S. News. “The 2016 Best Hotels are adored by industry experts and travelers alike for their great amenities, comfortable rooms and exemplary service.”
