Attention all comic-enthusiasts! This year’s journey to Comicon is beginning with the “Quest Fest” Pre-Party hosted by CityScape Phoenix.
Just two blocks away from the Phoenix Convention Center, CityScape will transform into a comic-lover’s dream with the “Quest Fest” 2016 Costume Contest, specials at select tenants, prizes and a screening of The Goonies.
Also, during all four days of Comicon, CityScape will be hosting the POWER UP OASIS in Patriots Park where event goers can power back up with misters, phone charging stations and a seating area with games.

“The Quest”: 4-7pm
During the event, the goal is to collect five buttons to earn a prize. To receive a button, you must travel to at least five participating CityScape retailers and try their $2 offering. Once you collect at least five buttons, it’s time to celebrate your success at “The Fest” on Central Ave. where the first 300 winners to complete “The Quest” will receive a portable charging stick. Participating retailers include:
The Strand Urban Italian– $2 sample Sangria and bruschetta.
Squid Ink – Cityscape– $2 sample cocktail.
Lucky Strike– $2 shoe rental voucher.
GypsyBar– $2 (15-minute unlimited) game card in the arcade room.
Copper Blues– $2 sample beer.
Urban Outfitters– Free tote bags.
The Corner– $2 cookie.
Fractured Prune Doughnuts– $2 doughnut.
“The Fest”: 6:30-10pm.
Your day-long journey ends at “The Fest”, which will feature the highly anticipated, “Quest Fest” 2016 Costume Contest. This extravaganza will showcase cosplays from contestants of all skill levels and ages for a chance to win a Tuft and Needle “Mattress of your Choice”, cash prizes and gift cards. Following the contest, guests can relax on Central Ave. with a screening of The Goonies.
