Pita Café, a fast-casual Greek and Mediterranean restaurant, is opening its third Arizona location in the Collier Center in downtown Phoenix, according to an announcement from the restaurant and RED Development.

This will be Pita Cafe’s first location to Phoenix, with two existing locations currently open in Scottsdale.

Pita Café will open in a 2,120 square foot space located at the ground level of 2nd Street, between Washington Street and Jefferson Avenue. Pita Café joins the line-up of eateries and restaurants already open at Collier Center including Tommy Pastrami, Fired Pie and Hard Rock Café plus recently announced Mancuso’s Italian Restaurant and The Park, a new food truck-centric and craft beer concept, both of which are also set to open later this summer.

“We chose to bring our first Phoenix location to downtown because of the exciting growth and activity happening in this area of the city,” said John Yasso, owner, Pita Café. “We look forward to serving nearby employees, residents, concertgoers, sports fans and more when we open later this summer.”

Pita Café’s menu will feature a variety of starters including hummus, falafels and baba ghanoush, specialty pitas and bowls where you “choose your protein” plus vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, signature salads, desserts and more. Catering plus dine-in, take-out and delivery options will be available.
