The Wing Counter, located at 5350 West Bell Road in Glendale will serve up jumbo, crispy and supremely spiced chicken wings with 14 signature sauces and dry rubs when they open their doors in early September. The Wing Counter is the brainchild of successful Valley restaurateurs Shane and Sheri Sender who own and operate multiple quick serve restaurants around town.

“We wanted to open a neighborhood wing joint,” said Shane Sender. “Our goal is to serve fast, fresh and tasty wings that go from counter to table in minutes with superior flavor and high quality ingredients. We look forward to feeding the neighborhood.”

The Wing Counter’s menu features wings that are crisped to perfection, saucy and packed with flavor—they are cooked to order so each batch exemplifies the Sender’s commitment to freshness and customer service.

“Our customer service levels will be second to none. We have so much restaurant experience between us that we hold our team to a very high standard—we will stand out from the pack,” said Sheri Sender.

Chicken wings are available in classic or boneless varieties and are served with homemade ranch or blue cheese dressing. Diners can choose six wings for $5.95, 10 for $8.45, a dozen for $9.95, 18 for $14.45, two-dozen for $18.95 or 36 for $27.95. There are no limits however on the number of wings that can be ordered at The Wing Counter—the more the better! Catering and party platters are available to go and are perfect for football tailgates, birthday parties or really huge appetites.

Chicken wing dry rubs include the TWC: spicy and flavorful, Ranch: cool and easygoing and the Garlic Parmesan: loaded tons of garlic and an unapologetic amount of cheese.

Sauce options are plentiful at The Wing Counter and include: Buffalo Style in original, hot or scorching heat levels, BBQ, Honey BBQ, Teriyaki, Honey Mustard, Mango Habanero, Sriracha Honey, Thai Sweet Chili and Kung Pao.

“Our sauces and rubs were crafted by sauce masters who are experts in the art of chicken wings. Each flavor profile is unique and will allow wing fans to create a dining experience that is as individual as they are,” said Sheri Sender.

The Wing Counter will also feature other menu items to include (but not limited to): salads, sides including French fries and homemade coleslaw and southern-style beignets for dessert. Kool-Aid in two flavors will be available daily at the restaurant, perfect for washing down spicy wing sauce.

A kid’s meal includes three wings, fries and Kool Aid or a soda for $5.00.

The Wing Counter’s interior will feature a modern country vibe with southern style accents, making for a comfortable dining experience that will match the mouthwatering menu.

“The Wing Counter will have options for everyone’s taste buds,” said Shane Sender. “We feel confident our restaurant will fill a much needed niche in the marketplace and we anticipate a very warm reception,” he added.
