Gridiron Glory
The Arizona Science Center’s exhibit, “Gridiron Glory:  The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame,” is in its final week. Over 200 pieces make up the exhibition. The exhibit consists of attire, photos, documents, and NFL Films footage. The exhibit allows visitors to get up close and personal with some of the finest examples of legends of the NFL. There are also interactive displays that demonstrate the science behind the sport.

Dining Out for Life
This international event is a day where participating restaurants will donate a portion of their proceeds to fight HIV and AIDS. Restaurants such as Cibo, PizzaPeoplePub, Sierra Bonita Grill, The Vig, and others across the Valley are participating. Each restaurant will donate anywhere from 10% to upwards of 100% of the proceeds depending on the place and meal. For a complete list of restaurants, click here.

Whiskey Row Marathon
Head up to Prescott to compete in the annual Whiskey Row Marathon. Runners have the option of choosing the marathon, half marathon, 10K or two-mile options. The event is celebrating its 37th anniversary this year. The marathon and half marathon portions feature rugged dirt in the middle of the course. Medals will be awarded to the top finishers in age-based categories for all the events.  Registration fees vary depending on the race.

Flamenco
“PHXFLAMEnco Part: Uno” brings Arizona’s most talented flamenco dancers to dance the night away and provide entertainment. The event’s mission is to educate the local community about the thriving arts culture in the state. “PHXFLAMEnco Part: Uno” features live performances, Juerga, local artisan market, and other art showcases. In addition to the dancing, there will also be a chef showcase. Refreshments and games will also be available. Guests must be 18 and up to attend.

BBQ & Redneck games
The annual BBQ and Redneck games are back at Salt River Fields. The event brings in over 20 pit masters that will be cranking out smoked pork, beef, ribs, and chicken. With all the BBQ, there’s a handful of eating contests as well. In addition to the BBQ, there will be live bands, mechanical bull riding, giant beer pong, and the Redneck Games Arena. General admission gets participants into the event and access to the Redneck Games, but the VIP option comes equipped with a limited number food and drink tokens which are required to purchase food and drink.
