Different Pointe of View, the AAA Four Diamond mountaintop restaurant renowned for approachable fine dining with spectacular views of the Valley, will host top winemakers from across the globe for seven exclusive Insider’s View Dinner experiences starting later this month.

The monthly, chef-led dinners offer one of the most up-close and intimate food and wine experiences in Phoenix. Limited to just 12 guests, each Insider’s View Dinner begins with an outdoor wine reception hosted by the owner of the featured vineyard, followed by a four- to five-course dinner prepared entirely tableside by Executive Chef Anthony DeMuro. DeMuro curates exclusive menus for each dinner with a focus on fresh, healthful and innovative seasonal ingredients to compliment the essence of each featured wine.

The 2014-2015 Insider’s View Dinner Series will run September through May, beginning with domestic winemakers in 2014 and welcoming international winemakers in 2015.

September 25: Ancient Peaks Winery – Specializing in wines from its sustainably farmed estate Margarita Vineyard, which stands alone as the southernmost vineyard in the Paso Robles region. The natural diversity of the region’s soils provide its craft wines with depth and dimension.
October 24: Peju – A family-owned and operated winery located in Napa Valley’s Rutherford Appellation, Peju produces award-winning wines from its organic farmed vineyards and solar powered winery facility.
November 14: Seven Hills Winery – One of Walla Walla Valley’s oldest and most respected wineries, Seven Hills Winery crafts an acclaimed portfolio of vineyard-designate and appellation-inspired wines that are recognized as some of the finest wines in the Northwest.
January 23: Joseph Drouhin (France) – Offering a fascinating array of Burgundy terroirs, Joseph Drouhin is one of the largest estates in the region of Burgundy, France. Many of its vineyards are Burgundy’s most famed, including Clos des Mouches, Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche, Musigny, Clos de Vougeot, and Corton-Charlemagne.
February 6: J. Hofstätter (Italy) – Among the largest wineries in Alto Adige in Italy, this historic family winery dates back to 1907 and is renowned for its traditional regional grape varieties including Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Lagrein, and Schiava.
March 6: Tedeschi Wines (Italy) – Synonymous with terroir and the Valpolicella Valley of Italy, the color, aroma and taste of Tedeschi wines reflect the strong character and love of the people who produce them.
April 10: Mastroberardino (Italy) – Established in the 1750s by winemaker Pietro di Mastro Berardino, Mastroberardino is Campania’s most renowned winery.
May 1: Campuget (France) – Producing Rhône Valley Grands Vins since 1942, the round Rhône stones, the Southern sun, the Mistral winds and the Syrah and Grenache grapes are the basic elements which form the identity of Campuget wines.

Each Insider’s View Dinner begins at 6:15 p.m. with a wine reception, followed by a private dinner in the main dining room of Different Pointe of View with views overlooking the city lights.
