9/5: Gareth Emery @ Maya Day and Nightclub
Gareth Emery, one of the hottest trance and progressive house DJs on tour, is set to perform at Maya Day and Nightclub this Friday. The England native was ranked No. 9 in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 poll in 2009 and has continually proven why since his first vinyl release, a remix of “Nervous Breakdown” by The Shrink, broadcasted on BBC Radio 1. Emery has consistently composed, produced and engineered his records and played them all over the world at hundreds of high-end clubs and festivals. This young Brit has gone international and will be stationed right here in Arizona lighting up the dance floor and giving a performance you won’t want to miss!

Bob Log III @ The Crescent Ballroom
Who wears a full cannonball suit, motorcycle helmet and plays the guitar and drums? Bob Log III. Kick off your weekend at the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix, featuring Bob Log III playing his one-man show. Log began his career in Tucson, Arizona by joining Doo Rag, Delta blues rock duo. After six years, he disbanded from the duo and started a solo career playing his slide guitar, drums and singing to the Delta blues rock genre he knows. Log released his first two albums, School Bus and Trike, in 1998 under indie label, Epitaph Records. In 2003, Log released his latest record, Log Bomb, under Fat Possum, whom he is still signed with today. Bob Log III has toured in more than 30 countries and plays more than 150 shows a year. This one-man show will rock the stage this Friday in Phoenix.
