Kovach Building Enclosures of Chandler has been ranked No. 16 by Glass Magazine in its list of Top 50 glaziers in the nation.
Kovach is currently wrapping up the glazing and cladding work on the Manzanita Hall renovation in Tempe, a complete re-skin of the building.
The annual Top 50 rankings represent what Glass Magazine editors believe to be the 50 largest contract glazing firms in the U.S. based on sales volumes. The glazing firms are ranked within nine sales categories.
Kovach has been a part of the Valley economy since 1969, founded by Stephen E. Kovach III. Vice President Stephen E. Kovach V has recruited the third generation of the family, with Stephen E. Kovach V and Kyle A. Kovach providing support in the area of construction management.

The special report in Glass Magazine offered a complete picture of the state of the contract glazing market in the U.S. The report includes the Top 50 Glaziers list, based on 2012 sales volume, market statistics related to bid level, profit margins, competition, and building segment activity. It also looks at the U.S. glazing market over the past several years.
James Hatch, preconstruction manager for Kovach Building Enclosures, is quoted in the report saying the biggest challenge in 2012 was, “absorbing a majority of Trainor Glass’ Southwest office, field and plant staff, and merging the different schools of thought.”
