As a kid, there was no better bonding activity than a group bike ride. Times may have changed, but the unity of a bike ride is still the same. This Saturday, February 16, bring your bike and crew to meet at The Madison Improvement Club – a new yoga and spinning studio at 38th Street & Indian School Road – and let the magic of this 80s neon-themed bike ride begin.

The Arcadia Crewz bike series will unite local restaurants as well as local retailers and business owners who have a voice to be heard and products to be seen. Founders Andrew Varela of The Madison Improvement Club and Rebecca Brookson of Bicyclette – a boutique lifestyle brand inspired by the bicycle, began the bike ride to introduce people to new Arcadia businesses. Their hope is that it stimulates their business through a fun-filled cruiser ride that brings the community together.

Beginning at 9 a.m. at The Madison Improvement Club on Saturday, chow down and drink up with a selection of special offers: Your choice of breakfast wrap + Kettle One Bloody Mary ($12)

  • Acai Bowl + top shelf mimosa ($10)
  • 3 Month Paid Vacation’ smoothie featuring mangos and fresh squeezed OJ with Kettle One ($6.50)
  • Bottle of champagne + fresh OJ ($20)
  • And special free appetizers by the hour

In addition to these specials, s.e.e.d café’s full regular menu will be available.

Around 11:00 a.m. the crew will cruise over to their second stop: Milagro Grill, a new Mexican restaurant located at 43rd Street & Indian School Road. Milagro Grill will feature their regular happy hour menu, offering $5 Milagro Margaritas and $6 Habanero Raspberry Margaritas, as well as an array of their award-winning tacos and much more.

Around 1:00 p.m., the glowing neon crew will depart down to O.H.S.O. for flatbreads and specialty dips, as well as $3 draft beers available to cruisers.

In addition to the three stops, there will also be a market for local retail vendors at the parking lot of The Madison Improvement Club to showcase their rad gear and merchandise. Some vendors include Flora Apothecary, Nostalgic Boutique, Erica Schmitt Designs, Bicycle Haus, H2E essential oils and candles, Ten Twenty-Seven Designs, and more. Valet parking will also be available for all participants at The Madison Improvement Club.
