Doug & Kevin Edwards, Edwards Design GroupKevin Edwards is a long-time Arizona resident of 30 years. He studied architecture and alternative energy in college and has been self-employed with his family-owned design/build business since the late ’70s. In his career, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge encompassing all aspects of the construction industry — from residential to commercial, from conventional to highly progressive building techniques.

Kevin has lead The Edwards Design Group as a recognized authority of sustainable construction in our community; he is responsible for designing, engineering, permitting and constructing the first straw-bale and “Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Block” buildings in Scottsdale.

Their understanding of sustainable materials and building techniques have been featured on radio, newspapers and magazines nationwide including the May 2002 edition of The Phoenix Home and Garden. They were also the featured design/build firm of the 1991 Los Angeles County Museum of Art Architectural Tour for their Art Nouveau Project on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
