Community Bridges’ Center for Hope, which provides residential, outpatient, permanent housing and supportive services for women and their families regardless of their ability to pay, officially opened its newly remodeled, permanent supportive housing facility in Mesa.

General contractor was Gauge Construction.

Representatives from the City of Mesa, including Vice Mayor Alex Finter, police, fire and public safety officials joined Community Bridges foundation president, John McKindles, Community Bridges president and CEO, Dr. Frank Scarpati, Center for Hope vice president of women’s and children’s programs, Kimberly Craig and a host of local dignitaries and volunteers who were instrumental in the project as they took part in an official ribbon cutting.

During the event, attendees were also invited to tour the newly completed facility, which showcased its importance not only to those who will call it home but also its important revitalization efforts and economic impact for the City of Mesa and its residents.

“We are proud to offer hope to those with nowhere to turn,” McKindles said. “It is this hope that energizes our residents and gives them renewed confidence to succeed as independent individuals.”
