They are scheduled to take the stage on Saturday at 6PM.

Frontman Dustin Bushnell, who goes by Duddy B, spoke with us about their upcoming appearance. Here is what he had to say:

Q: What brought you to the Pot of Gold Music Festival?

A: We love Arizona, we have been playing there for as long as we have been touring. It has always been a favorite stop for ours and when we got the offer to play in this festival we couldn’t pass it up. We normally always say yes to festivals when we like the location and the lineup. We saw the lineup for this one, and knew we wanted to be part of it, especially because so many of the other bands are our friends. We have been touring forever so we make so many friends in these bands and it is always like a reunion. Honestly, we see the lineup and we get so excited. Plus I saw that New Politics are playing there and they are great friends.

Q: Your album, “Sound of Change” was just released summer of 2014, what kind of successes are you seeing?

A: We think it was a different sound, actutally we know it was a bit different than our other albums. So at first we had some people who were taken back and unsure but the more we have toured on it, the more it picked up. It really goes over so well live. Our old fans dig it and because it has some new vibes to it we gained new fans, and they love it to, so its awesome.

Q: What are your favorite songs to perform live at festivals like Pot of Gold?

A: As far as the festival we haven’t made a set list but we try to always get a good mix of old to new. We aren’t that band who is like “here only listen to our newest stuff,” so you will get a good mix. As far as my favorite to play, I love ‘Silence’ right now, it is a little heavier and lets us rock out. Medusa is another favorite of mine; I guess I am really just feeling the new stuff.

Q: What is your favorite story from a show or performance, maybe something you haven’t told anyone before?

A: If I haven’t told anyone before, it is for a reason.  But honestly, we have a lot of great experiences. One that sticks out the me the most would be when we sold out Red Rocks. It was a magical show. It was one of those moments that we all looked to each other and said “is this for real?” It really was a night that stood out.

Q: What are your favorite things to do when you are in Arizona?

A: If it is summer time, stay inside! I haven’t been there in a really long time for leisure, beyond just playing there, but I always like the fans.

Q: Last but not least, are you currently working on anything new that we can expect to hear at the festival, or anytime soon?

A: No, we are not playing any unheard music at the festival. We are just touring, touring touring. However, we are always writing and coming up with ideas so stay tuned. This summer we are touring however with Slightly Stoopid, the Expendables, and Stick Figure and we could not be more excited!
