Cox and Swift Charities maximize community impact

Cox Communications and Swift Charities are using their communications expertise and business relationship to serve local charitable interests. The two companies have put together a creative partnership agreement which utilizes the Cox array of communications tools–Cox Media, Cox Business and Cox Creative Services, to promote Swift Charities’ 2nd Annual 5K FUNRUN and 2.5K Walk. In return, Swift Charities will share a portion of the proceeds from the FunRun/Walk to support Cox Charities grant recipients.

The idea to support each other’s charitable interests came as a result of a thriving business relationship. Cox Business provides Swift Transportation with a 10G Cox Metro Ethernet circuit between Swift’s headquarters and its datacenter and 100M Optical Internet at each location.

Specifically, on December 8 at Indian Steele Park, Swift Charities will host its 2nd Annual 5K FUNRUN and 2.5K walk benefitting Chances for Children.
