The Tucson Padres proudly present a fun-filled Fourth of July event at Kino Stadium. At 7:00 P.M. they’re set to play the Reno Aces, the franchise that was previously the Tucson Sidewinders, and the Arizona Diamondbacks affiliate.

Following the game will be a Star Spangled Spectacular Fireworks Show presented by Rosemont Cooper, McDonald’s, Crest Insurance, Clear Channel and Tucson Lifestyle.

At 5:30 p.m., gates will open and the KRAFT Singles Block Party will begin. The first 5,000 fans to arrive will receive a coupon for a free apple pie at McDonald’s.

The Block Party will feature meet and greets with the beloved friar, Kino Bambino, along with Tucson Padres players to sign autographs. Cheeseburgers will be on sale for only $3, compared to the regular price of $5.50. So be sure to get to the stadium before the Block Party’s end at 7 p.m. game time.

The Fireworks Spectacular will commence after the game’s end, for which fans will be allowed onto the field to enjoy the sights accompanied by patriotic tunes. Receiving one of only a few firework permits from the Tucson Fire Department, the show is sure to be one of Tucson’s best Fourth of July experiences.

As always, parking is free at Kino Stadium for this Fourth of July game. Tickets are available today by calling 520-434-1367, visiting www.tucsonpadres.com or stopping by the Kino Stadium box office.

The box office will have special hours on Saturday, July 2 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.) and Sunday, July 3 (12 p.m. – 4 p.m.).

“We anticipate our largest crowd of the season, and encourage fans to purchase tickets this week, as well as arriving at the ballpark early to avoid the traffic congestion,” says Tucson Padres vice president and general manager Mike Feder.

“We would like to thank the City of Tucson and Pima County for their cooperation with our post-game fireworks show,” says Feder.
