Looking for a new bedtime tale or a funky new outfit for your little girl? At Urban Kidz on May 16 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., you can get both. Jena Scaccetti, a former luxury shoe designer, will be stopping by the SHOPS at Gainey Village to launch her children’s storybook and apparel line, Milk and Hunny. Scaccetti will be signing copies, and the Milk and Hunny gang will be there, too, for kids to meet.

Scaccetti’s Milk and Hunny apparel feature “Cute Faces” and has already garnered A-list fans, including actress Amanda Seyfried, model Kimora Lee Simmons, James and Kimberly Van Der Beek and more.

According to the Milk and Hunny website, Scaccetti created the clothing line to not only “bring a little piece of heaven to every girl on earth” but also “inspire all girls to never give up and to always follow their dreams.”

Before the event, though, kids can enter Urban Kidz’s contest to design the next Milk and Hunny Farrah shirt by accessorizing Farrah for her next debut. Pick up your application at Urban Kidz from May 7 through May 15 for consideration.

Urban Kidz will also be providing snow cones from the Snomobile. The best part? Proceeds from the event will benefit Teen Life Line, which provides a safe, confidential and crucial crisis service where teens help teens make healthy decisions.
