The second annual Arizona Women’s Conference returns to Scottsdale Community College Saturday, April 6, 2013, with a slate of presenters and workshops designed to bring women from all walks of life together to share their passions, ideas, struggles and successes.
Holly Mosier, a lawyer, health lifestyle expert and media personality, is this year’s keynote speaker. She is the author of “Stress Less, Weigh Less,” a unique manual combining nutrition and exercise with proven stress management tools.
Dr. Connie Mariano, former White House physician for former presidents George HW Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush, will present the workshop “From Underdog to Top Dog: Secrets from the White House.”
Participants will choose from 16 workshops including, “ERA: Past, Present and Future,” “Women and Immigrant Rights in AZ,” “10 Ways to Ignite Your Future” and “Taking Charge of Your Financial Future.”
The day-long event is co-sponsored by the American Association of University Women – AZ, Business and Professional Women – AZ, Chat, Chew & Chocolate, Zonta Club of the East Valley and Scottsdale Community College.

Admission: $50 (includes continental breakfast and lunch), $25 for students, veterans and military members (with ID) A portion of the proceeds will go toward SCC scholarships.
