The second annual Arizona Women’s Conference returns to Scottsdale Community College Saturday, April 6, 2013, with a slate of presenters and workshops designed to bring women from all walks of life together to share their passions, ideas, struggles and successes.

Holly_MosierHolly Mosier, a lawyer, health lifestyle expert and media personality, is this year’s keynote speaker. She is the author of “Stress Less, Weigh Less,” a unique manual combining nutrition and exercise with proven stress management tools.

alg-dr-connie-mariano-jpg-300x225Dr. Connie Mariano, former White House physician for former presidents George HW Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush, will present the workshop “From Underdog to Top Dog: Secrets from the White House.”

Participants will choose from 16 workshops including, “ERA: Past, Present and Future,” “Women and Immigrant Rights in AZ,” “10 Ways to Ignite Your Future” and “Taking Charge of Your Financial Future.”

The day-long event is co-sponsored by the American Association of University Women – AZ, Business and Professional Women – AZ, Chat, Chew & Chocolate, Zonta Club of the East Valley and Scottsdale Community College.

Admission: $50 (includes continental breakfast and lunch), $25 for students, veterans and military members (with ID) A portion of the proceeds will go toward SCC scholarships.
