The 12th annual SanTan Brewing Oktoberfest presented by Bashas’ announces disco band Boogie Knights will headline the Waymo Stage on Friday, September 27. This event is open to all ages. Tickets are on sale now at SanTanOktoberfest.com
Originally formed in 1992 as a Halloween gag in Los Angeles, California, the Boogie Knights have excelled in the music scene and inherited a worldwide reputation. They’ve performed at various MTV programs, major sporting events, live shows across the nation as well as on network television shows and films. Complete with choreography, polyester, afros and bell bottoms the Boogie Knights are heralded as “the greatest disco revival show in the world.” Attendees can get down to their favorite covers of 80s and 90s disco music influenced by KC & the Sunshine Band, The Bee Gee’s, Earth, Wind & Fire, Donna Summer and Kool & The Gang.
The lineup also includes local favorites like Funkhaus Brass Band, Steve Ayotte & The Get Down, Honey Girl, Dayweather, Vanilla Spice and Stereo Rex. The festival will culminate with the Gin Blossoms headlining the Waymo Stage on Saturday, September 28.
For the best concert experience, attendees can purchase the VIP package which includes front stage access, entry into the Chapman Automotive VIP Lounge, private seating, catered dinner by B2 Burgers & Brews, private restrooms and four beverages of choice. Guests can take their concert experience to new heights by viewing the show from the carnival presented by Chapman Automotive. The ferris wheel will be positioned directly in front of the Waymo Stage, allowing attendees to observe the performance from above. Ride tickets will be available for purchase onsite at the festival.
