ARIZONA BUSINESS MAGAZINE AND THE ASSOCIATION OF CORPORATE COUNSEL HONOR 10 OUTSTANDING CORPORATE COUNSEL LEADERS

Event celebrates the important and vital role that in-house counsel plays in the success of a business.

Arizona Business Magazine and the Association of Corporate Counsel – Arizona Chapter celebrated the importance of in-house counsel and the role it plays in the success of companies’ success at the Arizona Corporate Counsel Awards (ACC Awards). Finalists and winners were honored Thursday, January 12, 2012  during a ceremony and dinner at the Ritz Carlton Downtown Phoenix.

Finalists were profiled in the January issue of Arizona Business Magazine.

Finalists were recognized for extraordinary legal skill and achievement across a full range of in-house responsibilities, exemplary leadership, and for contributions to the Arizona community at large. This is the first time xxcellence in in-house counsel has been recognized in Arizona.

Arizona Business Magazine recognized the following recipients as the 2012 Arizona Corporate Counsel Award winners:

Government/Municipal/Public Sector In – House Counsel of the Year – Jan Alfano, Senior Executive for Salt Ricer Project (SRP).

Nonprofit In – House Counsel of the Year – Cindy Sehr, Senior Counsel, Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert

Small Private Company In-House Counsel of the Year – Virginia Llewellyn, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Barrett- Jackson Auction Co., LLC

Large Private Company In-House Counsel of the Year – Christopher Kevane, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Rural/Metro Corporation

Small Public Company In-House Counsel of the Year – David Glynn, Chief Administration Officer and General Counsel, OneNeck IT Services Corporation

Large Public Company In-House Counsel of the Year – Mark Rogers, Associate General Counsel, Insight Enterprises, Inc.

Intellectual Property Attorney of the Year – Clarissa Cerda, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, LifeLock

Litigator of the Year – Mark Larson, Vice President and Chief Litigation Counsel, Honeywell International

Up-and-Comer of the Year – Lukas Grabiec, Corporate Counsel, Intel Corporation

In-House Legal Department of the Year – ON Semiconductor
