Target’s most recent collaboration with designer Prabal Gurung, induced a frenzy among fashion lovers with bold floral prints, exciting colors and high necklines. While pursuing the look book online I was struck with how wearable, yet individualized each piece was. I love graphic prints, so my fashionable heart was quite satisfied with the amount of strong prints incorporated into several looks.

Designed with the mindset of a young woman’s journey through love, this collection was a lovely success.

So what sold out quickest? The dress in ‘Floral Crush,’ the sweatshirt in ‘First Date’ and the shorts in ‘Floral Crush’ all went quickly. While I didn’t wake up to join the early risers in line at my local target, I did join the sleepwalkers and had a go at the sale the moment the clock hit midnight. See my favorite picks below:

The collection first launched on February 10, but several of these beauties are still available online and in stores.

A Few Tips:

Everything runs true to size; mind you a few items, such as the short sleeve dress in the ‘First Date’ print which runs tight in the arms for us girls with muscle. Items like the drop waist dress are perfectly true to size, however. I ordered two of each in case my must haves sold out and returned the sizes that didn’t fit just right.

What are your thoughts on Targets latest collaboration? Brilliant, or not for you?

While I tend to grab a few select items in each collaboration, I am consistently wishing for more home wares. I believe that the reason the Target x Missoni collaboration was such a fantastic home run was partly due to the gorgeous selection of home goods. I snagged the pillows, towels and shower curtain, and dreamt of the ever elusive throw blanket.
