Firehouse cooks and restaurant chefs throughout the Valley are set to battle fires in the kitchens of the Allstate Appliance Scottsdale Showroom, February 7th from 6pm – 10pm, in an effort to raise funds for the 100 Club of Arizona.

Located at 15250 N. Hayden Rd., the 6 Alarm Cookoff will showcase a sizzling spectacle as seasoned chefs’ paired up with firehouse cooks, whose on-the-job culinary skills are but a side-item to their work saving lives each and every day sponsored in part by Chuck Franklin Law, Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale, Two Gals Events and Hosted by the Gatekeepers. Award winning Restaurants participating in this exciting event include: Executive Chef, Chris Wolven of The Henry, Vermont Sandwich Company, Dr. BBQ of Dewd Ranch, Tryst Café, Chef Fred Flores of Culinary Dropout at Scottsdale Waterfront, and Chef Cesar Vasquez of Distrito.

“In an effort to serve those fire, law enforcement, public safety personnel who serve our community so valiantly when tragedy strikes, it’s events such as this that enable us to serve, support and provide financial assistance to their families in their time of need,” says Sharon Knutson-Felix, Executive Director of The 100 Club of Arizona. “Building awareness of the need, our services and our community impact, is something that this event will allow us to do in a fun, light-hearted and impactful way.”

Attendees will enjoy a host of delightful dishes from local restaurants that will tempt the taste buds with fare ranging from light appetizers to signature dishes, all of which include a variety of accompanying spirits sponsored by Dirty Tequila, Agave Underground, Angels Envy Bourbon Whiskey and Copa Wines. Soda, water and other non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.  A silent auction will also be held, this one created especially for those looking to burn through a bit of cash for a good cause. Bidders can battle on experiential items like dinner at a local firehouse, tastings, bucket list items and more.
