The Market Restaurant + Bar by Jennifer’s has partnered with Hip Veggies, a local food advocacy business to help feed those in need this holiday season by hosting The Giving Tree, A Fresh Food Drive. Monetary donations will be accepted now until New Year’s Eve and will be donated to a local CSA (community supported agriculture) program who will provide fresh, local produce to feed those in need.
In addition, The Market Bar + Restaurant by Jennifer’s will donate 25% of the proceeds from their epic dish, Chili n’ Waffles ($16, photo attached), served every Saturday & Sunday from 9am-2pm through the end of December to this worthy cause.
Last year, The Giving Tree Fresh Food Drive delivered $6,000 worth of produce to four groups in need, enough to feed 680 people for a week!
