Roka Akor Scottsdale is hosting a vintner dinner on Thursday, November 19, with Founder and President David Adelsheim of Adelsheim Vineyard, one of the oldest wineries in Oregon.

In collaboration with Executive Chef Jason Alford, the event, beginning at 7 p.m., will educate guests about the Willamette Valley winery’s current releases and pair four courses of specially prepared seasonal dishes to complement each vintage.

The dinner menu is as follows:

First Course

Kumamoto Oysters Calvisius Oscietra with royal pure salt caviar and noble verjus

Diver Scallop with green apple, wasabi, and shaved lingotto

2013 Adelsheim Bryan Creek Pinot Blanc

Second Course

Grilled Albacore with ginger dashi, matsutake mushrooms, and ankimo

Cedar Wood Smoked Muscovy Duck Breast with harukai turnip, Oregon chanterelle mushrooms, huckleberry, and black truffle
