Māyā Day + Nightclub, Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations (SLE) and Disco Donnie Presents (DDP) have announced that Skrillex will perform at Māyā Day + Nightclub on Saturday, September 5 as part of the 2015 Labor Day Weekend lineup. Doors open at 12 p.m.

Sonny Moore, better known as Skrillex, is a DJ/producer with roots in dubstep and electro house. Skrillex kick-started his musical career as the lead singer of post-hardcore punk band From First to Last until 2007 when he began his solo career producing in nightclubs in Los Angeles. The My Name is Skrillex EP put him at the forefront of the dubstep scene and led to headlining performances at festivals including Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra Music Festival and TomorrowWorld as well as collaborations with notable figures in the industry including Porter Robinson, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki and many more.

Since skyrocketing to fame, the California native has amassed 10.9 million followers on YouTube, 5.6 million followers on SoundCloud and founded his own record label, OWSLA. Skrillex has won a total of six Grammys since 2012 for Best Dance Recording, Best Dance/Electronica Album and Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical as well as an MTV Music Video Award for “First of the Year (Equinox).”

Skrillex teamed up with Diplo to form the duo known as Jack Ü and released their debut album, Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü in 2015. The album featured a collaboration with Justin Bieber on the internationally successful single “Where Are Ü Now” which has garnered 90 million views on YouTube since the video’s initial release in June.
