The wait is almost over.  What will surely be one of the most talked about new dealership designs in the country, Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale is set to open in mid-December across from Scottsdale Fashion Square.

Nearing completion at 4725 N Scottsdale Rd. in Scottsdale, the re-locating and newly named Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale dealership will feature 115,000-square feet of space on three levels.  The building which exceeds the highest standards put forth by Mercedes-Benz is being modified from an old office space to accommodate the breath-taking showroom along Scottsdale Road, full-service shop with fully enclosed service bays, screened lighting, insulated garage doors and a luxurious lounge available for Mercedes-Benz customers.

Among the high-end amenities, Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale will also offer a technology specialist to cater to guests needs, private concierge and relaxing shuttle service and a state-of-the-art beverage station, just to name a few.

Owned by Chuck and Anita Theisen, the new Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale dealership will replace Theisen’s Phoenix Motor Company dealership at 3rd Avenue and Indian School Road, which has been in business for 45 years.  Theisen, a Scottsdale Saguaro High School Grad says he’s proud to be running his business in the same city he grew up in.

“We are thrilled to now give the City of Scottsdale and downtown Scottsdale its own family owned Mercedes-Benz dealership.  Between our state-of-the-art facilities with incredible architectural detail, high-quality of service and close proximity to customers and Fashion Square, this spot was the perfect location,” said owner Chuck Theisen.

Theisen said he is already receiving requests from numerous groups to use the dealership as an event venue.  He also believes the creative re-use of an office building once occupied by the Scottsdale Area Chamber into one of the most innovative automobile dealership designs in the country will result in local and national awards.

The City of Scottsdale says the move by Theisen will result in a $25 million investment for downtown Scottsdale along with 150 new high-paying jobs for the area.  The new project will also generate millions in new sales tax revenue for the city.

Mercedes-Benz customers are typically 30-55 years of age with an annual income exceeding $100,000.  The brand’s cars range from $25,000 to $300,000. Theisen also owns Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead in Peoria.
