Summer fun is coming back to the West Valley with Westgate Wednesdays returning to Westgate Entertainment District every Wednesday from now until August 10.
The free, family-friendly series runs every Wednesday at Fountain Park from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., offering weekly themed events that draw hundreds of kids and parents to enjoy music, dancing, games and prize giveaways.
Each week, families will have the opportunity to do a meet and greet with their favorite characters and receive a free photo taken with them. Also, guests should bring their swimsuits to cool off and play around in the splash pad before, during and after the events.
The themed events include:
- June 22: Intergalactic Party with Princess Leia and a Storm Trooper
- June 29: Princess & Pirate Party with Jake and Belle
- July 6: Fairy Fun Day with Tinkerbell and Peter Pan
- July 13: Frozen Fiesta with Princess Anna and Kristof
- July 20: Super Hero Sensation with Batman and Superman
- July 27: Princess & Pirate Party with Captain Hook and Ariel
- August 3: Intergalactic Party with Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper
- August 10: Frozen Fiesta with Princess Anna and Princess Elsa
