Andante Law Group is pleased to announce that Brian M. Blum, has been hired to serve as a Managing Attorney with The Turnaround Team, which is a newly founded sister law firm that focus solely on consumer Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy matters.

Daniel E. Garrison, Managing Partner of Andante Law Group stated, “We are pleased to have Brian join The Turnaround Team as managing attorney. His leadership skills and experience in consumer bankruptcy matters are a real asset and complement Andante Law Group’s corporate restructuring, business bankruptcy, loan workouts and enforcement, and commercial litigation practice.”

Brian is an Executive Committee Member of the Arizona Consumer Bankruptcy Counsel and Barrister Level Member of the Arizona Bankruptcy American Inn of Court. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

Jaclyn Foutz Joins Andante Law Group

Andante Law Group of Daniel E. Garrison, PLLC announced that Jaclyn D. Foutz has joined the firm as an attorney.  Her practice is concentrated in commercial litigation, bankruptcy, reorganization and capital recovery.  She represents creditors in collection and enforcement matters, as well as in all facets of bankruptcy proceedings and advising clients on creditors’ rights.

Garrison, Managing Partner of Andante Law Group stated,  “We are pleased to have Ms. Foutz join our firm.  She is a very talented litigation and bankruptcy attorney who will compliment our firm’s corporate restructuring, business bankruptcy, loan workouts and enforcement, and commercial litigation practice.

Prior to joining the Andante Law Group, Ms. Foutz was with Ballard Spahr LLP in Phoenix.  She began her legal career clerking for Justice Andrew Hurwitz at the Arizona Supreme Court.  Before re-entering private law practice, Ms. Foutz founded and was General Counsel to the Human Tribe Project, a patient support and fundraising website.

She earned her BS from the University of Arizona in 2000 and her JD in 2005 from Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.  She is licensed in both state and federal courts in Arizona and U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Waldo named to Next Gen: Emerging Leaders Board

The Andante Law Group announced that Fay Waldo has been appointed to the Next Gen: Emerging Leaders Board for the Turnaround Management Association’s (TMA) Arizona Chapter.  The Emerging Leaders Board encourages and facilitates networking and educational opportunities tailored to those turnaround professionals in the early stages of their careers.

Matthew Meaker, a shareholder at Andante Law Group, has been recognized as 2011- 2012 Outstanding New Member by the American Subcontractors Association of Arizona.

Meaker provides legal advice to clients on all facets of commercial law and development issues. On behalf of his construction clients, he handles a wide variety of issues which include lien and bond claims on privately funded construction projects; contract and prompt pay disputes; Registrar of Contractor’s claims and construction defect litigation.

His clients include residential and commercial developers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and homeowners’ associations.
