Marc Sobelman, ECOtality, BIG Green Conference 2011 SpeakerMarc Sobelman is the regional manager for ECOtality North America (formerly known as eTec). Marc has over 20 years in sales, sales management and project management. He has led teams, managed groups and projects mostly in the technology space in the Phoenix area.

His job is the planning and implementation of the requirements of the DOE project and interface with the stakeholders, both in the public and private sectors to make sure everybody interested can participate. His goal is to provide the best infrastructure plan for Phoenix and Tucson using demographic & transportation data as well as stakeholder input to place the Level 2 and DC Fast chargers.

Marc is an “almost native” attending Chaparral High School, and he has a BA in Marketing and Management from Northern Arizona University.

His company focuses on the continuing sustainability or minimizing the effects to certified and non-certified existing building for emergency and non-emergency services. Schaffner has been endorsed by Fireman’s Fund insurance and AIG/Chartis as their green reconstruction contractor for Arizona. Also, he holds several emergency service contracts for LEED EB properties including the Platinum AZ Fish & Game property.Schaffner has been delivering minimal impact alternative construction methods to the existing building market since 2005 and is recognized by a large number of building owners and commercial management companies for his proactive approach to recycling and alternate services, minimizing the effects to the environment for normal construction. He has power points for project that he has delivered these services for and Schaffner is very passionate about the services he delivers form simple construction maintenance projects to large tenant improvements projects.
