Nussbaum Gillis & Dinner, P.C. has been named the Small Business Honoree of the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce’s 29th Annual Sterling Awards. The Scottsdale Chamber announced this year’s honorees at a ceremony Friday at the Chaparral Suites Resort in Scottsdale.
“The Sterling Awards are among the most credible of all business award competitions in the metro Phoenix area,” according to the Scottsdale Chamber. A panel of six judges scores finalists on their application answers, narrowing the field to three per category. Each of those finalists then presents to the judging panel on-site at their places of business. Growth, success, creativity, innovation, uniqueness, corporate culture, adaptability to economic change, impact and contributions to the community are among the factors judges consider when selecting honorees.
“We’re very grateful to the Scottsdale Chamber for recognizing Nussbaum Gillis & Dinner as the 29th Annual Sterling Awards Small Business winner. This is a huge honor for our firm to receive one of the most prestigious business awards in Arizona. I am humbled to lead such an amazing team that has built the foundation for continued success of our firm,” said Nussbaum Gillis & Dinner’s Managing Partner, Randy Nussbaum.
“In the tradition of the firm’s ongoing commitment to the community, Nussbaum Gillis & Dinner will contribute $1,000.00 to the 2014 Sterling Awards Non-Profit Honoree, Feeding Matters, and $250.00 each to the Non-Profit Finalists, Parada del Sol and the National MS Society, AZ Chapter,” announced Greg Gillis, co-founder of the firm. “And it is our hope our donations will start a tradition of future contributions to the Sterling Awards Honorees in the Non-Profit category,” stated named-shareholder, Dean Dinner.
