Bob Parsons opens 2nd GO AZ motorcycle dealership

GO AZ Motorcycles has officially opened the doors to its second location at the southeast corner of Loop 101 and Bell Road. Filling a gap in the market, GO AZ is the only dealership in the area featuring exclusively European lines with BMW, Ducati and Triumph brands. The 15,000 square-foot site includes two levels of showroom space, retail areas, a coffee shop, performance stage, outdoor patio, customer lounge and premium service department. Phase II is slated to open in early 2016 and will expand the service area by an additional 10,000 square-feet.

“We are excited to offer the West Valley convenient access to the GO AZ Motorcycles’ brand and deliver the customer experience that helped make GO AZ Motorcycles in Scottsdale the #1 dealer in North America for the last two years,” said Gina Marra, Vice President of the Powersports Division at YAM Worldwide.

Founded in 2008 by well-known entrepreneur and philanthropist, Bob Parsons, GO AZ has experienced rapid growth and success in the past seven years. The dealership has been ranked a Top 100 Dealer by Dealernews since 2011 and named the #1 Powersports Dealer in North America by Powersports Business for the past two years.

“Our GO AZ dealerships elevate the customer experience far above what you expect from a typical buying experience,” said Parsons. “The amenities and services provided are an expression of our passion for motorcycles and the biker community.”

GO AZ’s West Valley location was designed to provide a unique experience and features a vintage, industrial feel with wood, brick, concrete and custom metal finishings throughout the space. More than just a motorcycle dealership, the new campus was built to be an entertainment-centered enterprise and will host live bands every weekend and special events such as barbecues on the patio and football Sundays with games playing on the multiple televisions displayed around the dealership.

The company is planning an open house event later this fall and the official Grand Opening is slated for spring of 2016.

Parsons Acquires Scottsdale-based Martz Agency

Valley entrepreneur and philanthropist Bob Parsons today announced the acquisition of Martz Agency by MP Agency, L.L.C., an organization owned by Parsons. The award-winning Scottsdale based marketing and public relations firm, which will be renamed Martz Parsons, will bring creative firepower to Parsons’ growing portfolio of businesses.

Parsons has said that by looking at and structuring their marketing as a revenue generator that makes money rather than an expense item, businesses are able to not only bring attention to their brand but also increase their revenue streams. Parsons’ numerous Valley based entities, including Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale, Go AZ Motorcycles, Spooky Fast Parts & Engineering, YAM Properties, The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation and Scottsdale National Golf Club, will be using Martz Parsons as their agency of record. The agency will immediately add talent to keep pace with the growth.

Martz Agency, founded by Carrie Martz in 1980, is among the most highly regarded agencies in Arizona. Moving forward, Carrie Martz will assume the title of CEO and the agency will continue to serve its existing clients. Existing and future accounts, including Parsons personal enterprises, will be able to leverage the Agency’s unparalleled talent and newly expanded resources to further develop and empower their brands.

“I am thrilled that someone I consider to be a marketing genius has purchased the Agency,” said Carrie Martz.  “This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for our agency and for our clients. With Bob Parsons behind us, I believe our Agency will become even more value to the clients we serve.”

Bob Parsons, like Carrie Martz, is well-known for his intense focus on providing an excellent customer experience. Moving forward, clients can expect their accounts to be managed with the same level of personalized care that Martz Agency has delivered for the last 33 years.

“It’s no secret that I am passionate about marketing,” said Bob Parsons. “The formula is simple … great brands that deliver an uncontested customer experience thrive. Martz Agency brings years of experience, professionalism and enthusiasm to the table. Together, we should knock it out of the park.”

Martz Agency’s current client roster includes Yurbuds, Arizona Commerce Authority, Toronto based Pacific Links International, Valley of the Sun YMCA, Fennemore Craig, RLC Labs, One Neck, Mirabel, The Reef Residences at Atlantis, Estrella by Newland Communities, and Olympia Group.

Bob "GoDaddy" Parsons To Debut First Annual Bob’s Biker Blast

Most of us know Bob Parsons as the founder of GoDaddy, the industry’s leading web hosting site, or the mastermind behind of some of Arizona’s biggest parties in history; but there’s a side to him not everyone may know about — he loves motorcycles.

Bob's Biker Blast 2012

Parsons will kick off the first annual Bob’s Biker Blast on October 20 at Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale and Go AZ Motorcycles from 10 a.m. to midnight. It’s projected to attract thousands of attendees, making it one of the biggest biker events to date.

Parsons is an avid motorcycle rider and is using the event to promote the grand opening of Go AZ Motorcycles and Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale Training Facility.

The must-see spectacles of the day, though, are public demonstrations of the first-ever, commercial application of a motorcycle simulator Bob's Biker Blastthat was originally created for the U.S. military. It allows a rider to feel what it’s like to actually ride a motorcycle all within the safety of the simulator.

“If you have never ridden a motorcycle before, this is your chance to get a really good idea of what it’s like without actually getting on a moving bike,” Parsons says in a press release. “You won’t find a motorcycle simulator like this outside of a few military bases.”

The all-day event includes live music, food and a variety of activities. Concert gates will open at 4 p.m. starting with a Fear No Ice Thrill Show followed by a concert featuring 38 Special and George Thorogood. Tommy Flanagan, who currently plays “Chibs” from Sons of Anarchy, will also make an appearance from noon to 7 p.m.

Admission is free to all riders with a motorcycle endorsement on their driver’s license and is good for the rider plus one guest. There is a $20 fee for all others that will be donated directly to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
