OneGuard named to Inc. 5000 list

OneGuard Home Warranties has been named to Inc. magazine’s 2015 list of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies, which takes a comprehensive look at one of the most important segments of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs.

During that timeframe, OneGuard achieved 92-percent sales growth and added 64 jobs in order to keep pace with the demand for its services, ranking the company at 3,504.

Companies such as Yelp, Pandora, Timberland, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, LinkedIn, Zillow and many other well-known names gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 5000.

Fingerpaint named to Inc. 5000 list for 3rd straight year

Fingerpaint, a full-service marketing agency with offices in Scottsdale, announced it has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately held companies for a third consecutive year. The rankings are based on revenue growth over the past three years, during which time Fingerpaint has seen a 371 percent increase.

“This distinction is an extraordinary accomplishment,” said Ed Mitzen, founder of Fingerpaint. “This ranking is a clear testament to the dedication of our staff and their commitment to provide top-tier solutions that move markets for our clients.”

Fingerpaint adds this latest honor to a growing list of accolades that include being named to Medical Media and Marketing magazine’s Top 100 Agencies list, in addition to recognition of its creative work. Just this year, Fingerpaint has won 12 Hermes Creative Awards, seven American Advertising Awards and four Horizon Awards.

The advertising and marketing industry had a staggering 201 percent increase of aggregate growth—the third fastest-growing industry on the list.

Plexus Worldwide donates $35,000 to Toys for Tots

Scottsdale-based Plexus Worldwide, a leading direct-marketing weight-loss and health-supplement seller that was recently named No. 8 on the 2014 Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies, presented a donation of $35,000 to Toys for Tots and a donation of $40,417 to Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP).

The presentation occurred on December 15 at Plexus Worldwide’s headquarters in Scottsdale.  Sgt. Eric Martinez, Coordinator for Toys for Tots in Maricopa County and Aaron Miranda of Wounded Warrior Project attended the event, and were joined by Plexus Executives including CEO Tarl Robinson and CMO Alec Clark.

The donation to Toys for Tots is a direct result of sales made on Cyber Monday, when Plexus customers and ambassadors entered a special code to donate 5% of that day’s sales.  The Wounded Warriors Project donation is a result of a similar special offer on Veterans Day.  Other charities to benefit from Plexus donations during 2014 include breast cancer awareness and research organizations.

Digital Marketing Firm Pyxl Headed to SkySong

Pyxl, a leading full-service digital marketing firm recently named to the Inc. 5000 list for fastest growing privately-held companies, is going to make its new home at SkySong.

The company is relocating from another location on N. Scottsdale Rd. and will move to its expanded, 2,500 square feet location at SkySong in December.
