Fulton Homes Honors Vets with ‘Fly the Flag’ Campaign

Fulton Homes is showing its appreciation for America’s veterans by encouraging everyone to display the Stars and Stripes this Veteran’s Day, and at the same time benefit the Wounded Warriors Project.

The Tempe-based homebuilder has partnered with 100.7 KSLX for the “Fly the Flag for Veteran’s Day” campaign. From Sept. 30 through Nov. 11, listeners who visit Fulton Homes’ Ironwood Crossing community in Queen Creek and tour a model home can purchase a full-size American flag kit for $10, with all donations going to the Wounded Warriors Project. Fulton Homes will match any $10 donation offered, up to a maximum of $25,000.  The flag offer continues through Veteran’s Day, which is Nov. 11. More Fulton Homes communities where flags can be purchased may be added during the campaign.

“We at Fulton Homes honor all of our military personnel who protect our freedom and defend our homeland,” Doug Fulton, Fulton Homes CEO, said.  “We owe our veterans and their families our greatest appreciation the sacrifices they have made to keep us safer. Displaying the Red, White and Blue on Veteran’s Day is a way we can honor and support our troops and show our gratitude, and the donations collected will support those troops who have been wounded in battle.”

The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) honors and empowers Wounded Warriors. WWP raises awareness of the needs of injured service members, to help injured servicemen and women aid and assist each other, and to provide programs and services to meet their needs.

Fulton Homes Lands on Top 50 in U.S.

Fulton Homes’ Ironwood Crossing community in Queen Creek is the top-selling master-plan community in Arizona, according to a new report.

Ironwood Crossing made the list of 50 Top-Selling Master-Planned Communities in the U.S. in 2012 in a newly-released report by Irvine, California-based John Burns Real Estate Consulting. Ironwood Crossing landed 23rd on the list, making it the highest-ranking community in the state based on net sales in 2012.
Meanwhile, Fulton Homes’ Freeman Farms community in Gilbert listed at 49th.  Fulton Homes was one of nine builders that had more than one master-plan in the Top 50.  Overall sales at all of the communities increased 46 percent from 2011, convincing evidence that the housing market is bouncing back.

“Home sales are at a brisk pace right now,” Doug Fulton, CEO of Fulton Homes, said.  “In January we sold 40 homes in 20 days. For Fulton Homes to place Ironwood Crossing and Freeman Farms in the Top 50 U.S. communities is a testament to both our sales team and the increasing number of buyers now purchasing new homes.”

To compile the list, John Burns Real Estate Consulting surveyed nearly 100 large-scale residential communities in the U.S. Collectively, the communities totaled 22,806 new home sales last year, which was a 46-percent increase over the 15,599 new home sales in the same communities in 2011.

Fulton Homes’ sales spike

It’s been a good year for Fulton Homes.

The Tempe-based homebuilder has seen a 46 percent increase in sales compared to last year through the week ending Dec. 16.  Although final numbers for the calendar year won’t be calculated for a couple more weeks, Fulton Homes has sold 692 homes so far.  That compares to the 463 homes sold in all of 2011.  Fulton Homes sold 358 homes in 2010.

“The market for new homes is definitely improving,” Doug Fulton, CEO of Fulton Homes, said. “We’ve seen increased sales at many of our East Valley communities, which is a testament to the housing recovery.”

Preliminary figures reveal that Fulton Homes sold more than 57 new homes per month for 2012.  The top selling developments include Ironwood Crossing (284 homes), Freeman Farms (217) and Fulton Ranch (109).  Ashcreek has sold 25 homes and Victoria Estates has sold 23 homes.

While the housing market is improving across the board, Fulton Homes set itself apart as the only homebuilder to maintain a consistent presence throughout the recession.  Fulton Homes has several communities in the East Valley, an area of the Valley that is seeing the most significant home-buying traffic.  In addition, Fulton Homes buyers have seemingly endless choices when designing their new home.  Buyers can choose from 5,000 upgrades at the Fulton Homes Design Center, and they have the ability to customize their homes at certain communities by adding a 52-foot garage, or a separate living space for extended family.
