Jones, Skelton & Hochuli creates new position

Jones, Skelton & Hochuli has created a new position, titled Director of Paralegals and Litigation Technology. This position is the first of its kind. “We believe having this new position will add value to the paralegal team as well as the clients they serve, by creating a more efficient and streamlined team,” says Jennifer Lovato, Firm Administrator.

Jones, Skelton & Hochuli promoted Narinda Greene into this role. She has served as a paralegal at JSH for the past ten years. During her tenure at JSH, she has helped coach and train the firm’s paralegal staff and continues to serve as a valuable resource to the firm’s 34 paralegals. It is because of her hard work and dedication that we have decided to create a new position at the firm. As the Director of Paralegals and Litigation Technology, Narinda will provide one on one training as well as develop group educational programs for the paralegal team. We are confident Narinda will continue to strive for success and serve as an excellent leader for the paralegals here at Jones, Skelton & Hochuli.

Jones Selected as 2014 Lawyer of the Year

While he currently concentrates his practice in the medical malpractice area, Mr. Jones is still involved in litigating and trying other types of civil liability cases on an active and ongoing basis. He has served as both the Arizona Court of Appeals Judge Pro Tem and the Superior Court of Arizona Judge Pro Tem.

Jones has passed along the knowledge he has gained throughout his legal career by speaking as a guest lecturer at Harvard University, Arizona State University and the University of Arizona College of Law. Callahan Joins Jones, Skelton & Hochuli as Partner

Jones, Skelton & Hochuli announced that Charles M. Callahan has joined the firm as a Partner. Mr. Callahan has over 20 years of experience and focuses his practice on professional and personal liability defense, and bad faith/insurance coverage litigation. “I am very excited for the opportunity to bring my practice and experience to one of the most respected defense firms in the Southwest, and joining professionals of the highest quality and integrity.”

Clark, Suciu Join Jones, Skelton & Hochuli

Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, PLC announced that Andrew Clark and Kimberly Suciu have joined the firm as Associates.

Clark will focus his practice on general civil litigation and insurance defense, bad faith, personal injury and construction defect.  Clark grew up in the valley and attended the Ira A. Stone will lead Young Lawyers Division of State Bar

Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, PLC announced that Erik Stone has been named President-Elect of the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the State Bar of Arizona.

Stone has been a member of the State Bar of Arizona, Young Lawyers Division since 2011 and has served on the Executive Board from 2011 to 2013 before being elected President.

Stone joined Jones, Skelton & Hochuli as an Associate in 2010, and concentrates his practice on Commercial and Business Litigation; General Civil Litigation and Insurance Defense; Construction Litigation; and Wrongful Death and Personal Injury. Mr. Stone received his law degree from Boston University School of Law in 2009, and is admitted to practice in Arizona and California. Prior to joining the firm, Stone served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Patricia A. Orozco, of the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division I.

The YLD is a dynamic community and professional service organization of the State Bar of Arizona, specifically created for new lawyers who are under 37 years of age, or have been in practice for five years or less. Presently, the Division has approximately 4,000 active members in the state, which constitutes nearly 33% of the total in-state active Bar membership.
