Free Golf Saturday coming to Dove Valley Ranch

Celebrate the re-opening of The Golf Club at Dove Valley Ranch with a no strings “Free Golf Saturday.”  Dove Valley will be hosting free golf on a first-come first-serve basis with no green fees or cart fee on Saturday, August 29th.

Portion of proceeds will be donated to the Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA).

“Free Golf Saturday is for families and friends to come out and play our newly renovated golf course.  It’s a great opportunity for our staff to show off all the new improvements, like the new MiniVerde Ultra Dwarf Bermudagrass putting surfaces as well as showcase the other changes that are coming this fall,” said General Manager/Owner Ryan Thompson.

PGA Professionals Shawn Lasher, Derek Cole, and Billy Wieczorek will be offering free junior golf clinics at 7:30am, 8:15am, 9:00am, 9:45am. Between 8:30am-noon, patrons will have an opportunity win $2,500 in the JGAA putting contest.  Everyone in attendance will a receive raffle ticket good for various raffle prizes: sports tickets, gift cards, golf apparel, rounds of golf and a Dove Valley Ranch golf membership valued at $3,750.

NBC Sports Radio AM 1060 will broadcast live from 10am-1pm and live entertainment between 4pm-7pm by Ed Smith and the Desert Highways Trio.

Artigue Agency Expands Growing Sports Practice

Local marketing communications firm, The Artigue Agency has announced the addition of several new clients to its growing sports practice.  Led by sports marketing veteran Ray Artigue, the firm’s new clients include Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA), Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, former Phoenix Suns star and NBA veteran Eddie Johnson, Patriot All-America at Wigwam Arizona and QR Gameplan.

Donahoe brings nine years of experience in brand strategy, creative development, media relations and communications planning. Prior to joining The Artigue Agency, Donahoe worked for Park & Co. where she served as strategic counsel for brands like Goodwill, Girl Scouts, Expect More Arizona, METRO Light Rail, Coca-Cola and many others.

La Cava has five years of experience developing and executing public outreach campaigns and strategic initiatives on behalf of several clients in the sports industry. Prior to joining The Artigue Agency, La Cava worked for Niner Sports Marketing where he managed talent procurement, endorsement deals and social media for marquee athletes.
