My Sisters’ Charities generates $72k in one year

One year since opening its doors, the My Sisters’ Charities Thrift Store in Chandler has many things to celebrate, especially the staggering $72,000 in donations generated for the non-profit’s benefitting organizations.

“We are thrilled with the success of My Sisters’ Charities Thrift Store and amazed at what we were able to accomplish in just one short year,” said Ann Siner, who founded and owns Eco-Chic Consignments in 1991 along with her sister, Jenny Siner. “My Sisters’ Charities is committed to supporting organizations aimed at wildlife preservation, helping women in abusive relationships and ending euthanasia of homeless pets, and we know our contribution will make a difference.”

The company includes popular designer consignment stores My Sister’s Closet , My Sister’s Attic and Well Suited, all of which contribute merchandise and manpower to the My Sisters’ Charities Thrift Store.

The $72,000 in charitable revenue was donated to roughly 15 nonprofits, including the Arizona Humane Society, HALO Animal Rescue, AZ Nature Conservancy, Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center, Fresh Start, and Defenders of Wildlife.

First opened July 2014, the 3,200 square-foot thrift store carries everything from clothing, accessories, furniture and household items at ultra-discounted prices and weekly sales, including regular $1 specials on featured fashions.

My Sister’s Attic at Pinnacle Peak expands

Some things are meant to get larger and this September My Sister’s Attic at Pinnacle Peak is embracing the motto ‘big is beautiful’ with a 40% expansion of the Valley’s favorite designer consignment furniture shop.

Shoppers looking for more wall art, china, crystal, furniture, lighting, rugs and patio accessories should head to My Sister’s Attic’s Grand Re-Opening Ceremony on Saturday, September 6th at 9:00 a.m., located at 23435 N. Pima Rd. in Scottsdale.

The first 50 shoppers in line will receive a FREE Swag Bag packed full with goodies from nearby Pinnacle Peak merchants.  Some of those items include Michael’s Creative Jewelry, Fast Frame, Subway, Pizza Hut, UPS Store, La Paloma Blanca Floral Boutique, Posh Pet Boutique and Spa, Starbucks, GoodyTwos, and a brand new piggy bank from My Sister’s Closet.

The 40% increase, or 2,000 square foot expansion will give shoppers more selection, room to browse and more opportunities to consign their own pieces.

“Because of where the store is located in North Scottsdale, My Sister’s Attic Pinnacle Peak always has some fantastic and original finds,” said CEO, Founder and sister Ann Siner. “And now with an extra 2,000 square feet of space, we will be able to really showcase those unique, one-of-a-kind gems that make My Sister’s Attic a cool spot for designer consignment furniture shopping.”
