Los Abogados, Arizona’s Hispanic bar association, will be hosting their Third Annual Gala, benefitting the Hon. Valdemar A. Cordova Scholarship for Hispanic law students, and honoring those who have contributed to the organization and the community. The 2014 honorees are Virginia Herrera-Gonzales, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award; Martín Quezada, who will receive the Emerging Leader Award; and Tony Moya, who will receive the Community Service Award. The 2014 Gala will consist of dinner, cocktails, and dancing, beginning at 6pm at the Renaissance Hotel in Phoenix on October 25, 2014. The event is open to all and registration is available on the Los Abogados website.
“We are proud to honor those who have contributed to Los Abogados and the community. We strive to enhance the quality of legal information and services provided to the community, to raise law school scholarship funds for the advancement of Hispanics in the legal profession, and to promote business growth within the Hispanic and greater community in Arizona. It is with the dedicated hard work of our honorees, and the support of our members and donors that we are able to implement these goals. I look forward to honoring this year’s award recipients and look forward to seeing many of our friends on October 25th,” said Ashley Villaverde, Los Abogados’ Gala Co-Chair.
