The Standard is Old Town Scottsdale’s newest resident

At The Standard, the controlled access community will feature a social lounge equipped with a kitchen and full-service coffee bar, resort-style swimming pool and spa with poolside cabanas and TVs, poolside athletic center, rooftop sky terrace, outdoor kitchen and grilling area, outdoor fireplace, bike rental and repair station, pet spa, electric car charging stations, valet trash service, onsite recycling and an underground parking garage.

Tucked inside bustling Old Town Scottsdale, The Standard is steps from the downtown district’s plethora of first-class notable shopping destinations, art galleries, local restaurants and bars, entertainment and activities. The premier location is designed with a neighborhood feel to appeal to those renters-by-choice, who desire to live in walkable locations.

Dallas-based Trinsic Residential Group is developing The Standard, which will be its first project to be completed in Arizona. P.B. Bell will serve as the property management company.


P.B. Bell adds four properties to management portfolio

P.B. Bell, a leader in multi-family housing development, management and acquisitions, has added four properties to its growing management portfolio.  The additions expand P.B. Bell’s reach in the East Valley with properties in Gilbert, Tempe, Old Town Scottsdale and North Scottsdale.

Bell’s brand of superior customer service and efficiency at each of these four new communities in our management portfolio, ” Debbie Willis, P.B. Two properties developed by Trinsic Residential Group, a new client for P.B. Bell, offer luxury living near Arizona State University and in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale.  Aura on Broadway, a 187-unit community under development at 1245 E. Broadway Road in Tempe, will feature a range of floor plans from studio to three-bedroom apartments.  The community’s resort-style amenities and entertainment-oriented common areas include a bike repair shop, fire pits and outdoor kitchens.

Meanwhile, The Standard, under construction across the street from Hotel Valley Ho in Old Town Scottsdale, will share amenities with the luxury boutique hotel.  The three-story, 134-unit community will offer luxury living spaces accented by high-end interior features and complimented by resort-style common areas.

Two established communities through existing clients, Olive East in Gilbert and Morningside at Scottsdale Ranch in North Scottsdale, round out the additions.

Olive East, located at 65 E. Olive Ave. in Gilbert, is positioned within the Heritage District in Gilbert, a lively, reimagined stretch of downtown that includes marquee dining and nightlife.  The 120-unit community offers easy accessibility to the U.S. 60 freeway and is close to shopping and popular restaurants.

Morningside at Scottsdale Ranch, located at 10455 E. Via Linda in Scottsdale, offers a comfortable living experience near popular retail and dining with freeway accessibility.  Tonya Batson, named 2015 Apartment Manager of the Year by the Arizona Multihousing Association, will serve as manager for the 160-unit community.

_YY32777The Standard, an American kitchen & bar featuring chef inspired, cutting edge food and hand crafted classic cocktails using locally sourced ingredients, has opened its outdoor Streatside Patio. Located at 10050 N. Scottsdale, Rd., The Standard is open Monday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to midnight, Saturday from 9 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Streatside Patio Lounge has plush couches, eight 50 inch TV’s, outdoor seating for 20 around the island bar, plus regular seating and the simple touch of home. The Streatside Patio Lounge features 16 draft beers, 4 tap wines and specialty cocktails. It’s the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat, watch a game, enjoy cocktails or for gather for a small business meeting.

The menu includes Homemade Pretzels with sweet hot mustard or smoked Gouda & Porter Beer cheese ($5), Wings ($10), Braised Brisket with caramelized onions and smoked Gouda cheesesteak on a Ciabatta Bun ($13), Tacos – pick any three: chicken, fish, beef, vegetarian or duck, ($10) and more.

Specialty cocktails include: The Standard Manhattan with Makers 46, Sweet Vermouth, Bitter; Strawberry Basil Martini with Azunia Platinum, Lemon Juice, Basil, Strawberries;White Sangria with Russian Standard Vodka, Peachtree, Sauvignon Blanc, St. Germain; Hard Lemonade with Tito’s Vodka, Mixed Berries, Jasmine Green Tea, Lemon Juice and Canadian Buck with Rye Whiskey, Lemon juice Apricot Pre-serve, Fresh Ginger Juice, plus many more.

The Streatside Patio Lounge offers happy hour specials daily and football specials during all NCAA and NFL games.  In addition, The Standard is now offering a Weekend Brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. It features live music, Bloody Mary’s ($8), Bottomless Mimosas ($15), an Omelet Bar and delicious meal items such as Chicken and Waffles ($12), Lemon Ricotta Pancakes ($8), Eggs Benedict ($12) and Braised Brisket and Grits ($12).

The Standard brings healthy dining marketplace to Scottsdale

The Standard, a new healthy dining marketplace, lounge and venue has opened in Scottsdale. The 7,200 square foot space features an eclectic dining room, quick and casual market, a street side patio lounge, an inviting private dining room and a stylish bar.  Located at 10050 N. Scottsdale, Rd., The Standard is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and the bar from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.

The Standard dine-in concept is described as contemporary seasonal with a focus on healthy, simple food.  The menu is inspired from a fresh and clean approach to cuisine.  The Standard features several Gluten free and vegetarian dishes too.

Appetizers range from Curried Deviled Eggs ($6), Turkey Meatballs ($10) to Tuna Crudo ($14).  Salads are made from local, seasonal and organic produce and range from $8 to $13.  Burgers, sandwiches and entrees also feature the freshest ingredients, such as the Brick Chicken Club Sandwich ($14), Ahi Tuna Sandwich ($15) and Bibimbap Rice Bowl ($17).  Signature Cocktails such as a Sonora, Disco Lemonade, Wandering Gypsy and Gold Dust are available for $10.  Happy hour is offered daily from 4 to 7 p.m.

“Inspirations were created with overall health in mind,” said Allen Thompson, founding partner. “We’re using only the freshest ingredients such as free-range chicken, wild caught fish and organic fruit.  It shows our commitment to delivering a healthy alternative to consumers.”
The Market Side features quick and easy foods such as fresh juices like the “Tinkled Pink” which has Strawberry, Pineapple, Orange, Ginger and Kiwi and aids in fighting cancer, aphrodisiac, fatigue, anti-inflammatory, prevents heart disease and lowers blood pressure.  Smoothies, coffee, breakfast items, salads and sandwiches are available to-go.

“The market side is the perfect fit for busy families, corporate functions or health conscience individuals,” said Billy Sims, founding partner.  “More and more people are looking for healthy and simple to-go options.”
