Small Business Loans On Aisle Three: Sam’s Club To Test Lending Program
With this in mind, Sam’s Club, a division of Walmart, announced today that it is testing an online program to provide small businesses with loans. The retailer is partnering with Superior Financial Group, a top Small Business Administration (SBA) lender, in order to make available loans of between $5,000 and $25,000 to qualifying small businesses. |

Obviously, many small businesses have closed their doors during this economic downturn, but there were also many small businesses that survived and even managed to thrive in the Great Recession. Recently, five small businesses from across the state were honored with Spirit of Enterprise awards. The awards are given out each year by the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University through its Spirit of Enterprise Center to recognize firms “that demonstrate ethics, energy and excellence in entrepreneurship.” |
