In January 2010, Suntech Power selected the City of Goodyear for its first manufacturing plant outside of China. The 117K SF photovoltaic panel facility will be in production by this fall near Interstate 10. Valley Partnership invited three major players to discuss the selection criteria and public/private strategies that put Goodyear ahead of intense national competition for site selection.
