The classic force behind hit songs such as “Lowrider” and “Why Can’t We Be Friends?”, War, is coming to the Diamond Center at the Desert Diamond Casino Sahuarita in May.
Tickets start at $15 and went on sale on Saturday, April 1. War will play at the Diamond Center on Friday, May 26. Doors for the show open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.
The Desert Diamond Casino in Sahuarita is located at 1100 W. Pima Mine Rd., Sahuarita, Ariz.
Lonnie Jordan, War’s original lead singer, keyboardist and musical director has been with War through out its many years of success. The band has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide.
If you were a fan of the Afro Cuban jazz rock blues band, then you won’t want to miss out on this show. War previously played at the Diamond Center in 2014.
