Things to know: This top-notch organization is the largest hot-air balloon business in the Southwest, and their professionalism and attention to detail make for an overall excellent experience. In Phoenix, they offer sunrise balloon rides, sunset balloon rides November through March, and private rides as well. They also offer balloon ride gift certificates, which are valid until one year from purchase. The day of the ride, you meet them at their North Phoenix office and are driven over to the launch site. To commemorate the adventure, you’ll be presented with a flight certificate upon conclusion.
Don’t miss: Before each ride, you’ll get the chance to observe and help out with the inflation process, and even take pictures. Sunrise riders are treated to a Sonoran Sunrise Gourmet Breakfast afterwards, with fresh fruit, organic greek yogurt parfaits, and delicious muffins. If you decide on the sunset ride instead, you’ll feast on a Saguaro Sunset Charcuterie platter, with homemade hummus, meats and cheeses, and freshly grilled artisan bread. Both sunrise and sunset riders are treated to signature prickly pear cactus mimosas.
