Wet ’n’ Wild Phoenix
Things to know: Wet ‘n’ Wild Phoenix is Arizona’s biggest ‘n’ best water park. Located on Pinnacle Peak Road, off I-17, the park is the largest in the state featuring more than 30 exhilarating attractions for families and thrill seekers alike. Adrenaline addicts can enjoy slides like Maximum Velocity – Dueling H2O Coasters – which is the first of its kind in the world, and races guests down two, gravity-defying, tandem slides; Tornado, which catapults guests through a swirling 45-foot funnel into the eye of the storm and into calmer waters below; or Constrictor, where riders speed down the enclosed flume slide into a series of corkscrew turns, snaking back and forth in the series of spirals, slithering down its insides on multi-person rafts.
Don’t miss: The park also features tamer attractions like Boogie Board Beach, a multi-level children’s area full of dumping buckets, kid-friendly slides and interactive water cannons; or Monsoon Bay, a 700,000-gallon wave pool that generates four-foot swells.
Arizona Grand Resort & Spa
The Arizona Grand’s on-property water park is the Oasis Water Park and comes complete with a wave pool, slides, tubing and hot tubs.
AZ ICE
With three locations in Greater Phoenix, this is a place to ice skate with family and friends, take lessons or enroll in a day camp.
Big Surf
America’s original wave pool with 2.5 million gallons of water, Big Surf’s Waikiki Beach is the place to be on a hot summer day.
BlueWater Resort and Casino
The resort’s water entertainment includes a beach, a marina, Wakeboard Island, three swimming pools and a two-story water slide.
