Giordano’s has pizza lovers covered for the Super Bowl

The key play for a winning Super Bowl Watch Party is an all-star food lineup. From coast to coast, tailgating menus are likely to have a few things in common. One safe bet: wings. Lots and lots of wings. The National Chicken Council is predicting that viewers of Super Bowl LIII will set an all-time record for wings consumption at a whopping 1.38 billion wings. Another unbeatable option: pizza. Americans enjoy upwards of 12.5 million pizzas on Super Bowl Sunday alone. That’s some serious cheese.

Deborah Canez, Regional Director of Operations at Giordano’s restaurant offers these tips for sports fans planning their Game Day grub:

Offer plenty of variety. Even a themed menu leaves plenty of room for variety and maybe even some unexpected twists. If you’re planning on a Mexican-themed fiesta, add a Street Taco Pizza from Giordano’s and a southwestern salad to the traditional taco bar.

Manage your budget. Offset the expense of a big party spread with discounts from restaurants like Giordano’s. Pizza lovers can get 25 percent off any purchase of $50 or more when they place their Super Bowl food orders online at giordanos.com for delivery or carryout from either Valley location (Paradise Valley or Peoria).

Add some grab-and-go items. Diehard sports fans won’t want to miss any of the game play, so be sure there are plenty of fast finger foods like buffalo or barbecue-flavored wings or even the Giordano’s Sampler Tray which includes cheesy garlic bread, mozzarella triangles, boneless chicken bites and bruschetta – all which can be grabbed during a quick run to the kitchen. Bowls of chips and cheese platters in the viewing room are also good ideas.

Get a great deal: Ready to dig in? Super Bowl fans can get 25 percent off any purchase of $50 or more when they place their Super Bowl food orders online using discount code SUPER25 at giordanos.com for delivery or carryout from either Valley location (Paradise Valley or Peoria).
