There must be something in the water.

Banner Desert Medical Center is excited for 16 Banner Desert Intensive Care Unit nurses who are pregnant at the same time while working at the hospital, located at 1400 S. Dobson Road in Mesa.

“It’s kind of crazy,” said nurse Rachel Cosgriff, who is six months pregnant with a baby girl. She said several of the nurses planned their delivery dates so they could have their babies around the holidays at the end of the year. Most of them are due between October and January.

Nurse Rochelle Sherman, who is nearly eight months pregnant, said, “I don’t think we realized just how many of us were pregnant until we started a Facebook group and more people kept adding to it.”

Banner created 16 special “onesies” as a little surprise gift for them.
