The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce — with presenting sponsor Nationwide Insurance Company — announced the honorees of the 33rd Annual Sterling Awards this past Friday, Nov. 16, at the Embassy Suites Resort Scottsdale. The Sterling Awards were emceed by Scottsdale Chamber President and CEO Mark Stanton.

Four honorees were selected from among 12 finalists, all of whom were featured, honored and celebrated at the event, showcasing “The Magical Arts of Business”. The 2018 honorees for the coveted Sterling Award are:

• Micro Business – Justo’s Gym

• Small Business – Titus Brueckner & Levine

• Big Business – Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty

• Nonprofit – Community Celebrating Diversity

Micro Business Award presented by Prestige Cleaners recognizes an emerging business exhibiting success through innovation, creativity and collaboration. (1-5 Employees)

Also recognized in the Micro Business category were Lux Transportation and Technical Solutions.

Small Business Award presented by COX Media recognizes a small company demonstrating innovation, quality, professionalism and commitment to the community. (6-99 employees)

Also honored for their achievements in the Small Business category were Arizona Outdoor Fun Rentals and SwiftPage ACT.

Big Business Award presented by Banner Behavioral Health recognizes a large company making a significant impact on the lives of its employees and the economic fabric of the community. (100+ Employees)

Other Big Business finalists honored were Plexus and VIP Mortgage.

Nonprofit Award presented by APS recognizes a charitable organization contributing to the social, cultural and educational well-being of its constituents. (501C3)

Also honored for their outstanding contributions in the nonprofit category were Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) and Valley of the Sun YMCA Scottsdale.
