With summer approaching, it means it’s time for pool parties in the Valley. Here are six of the best pool parties for fun and for people watching.
W Scottsdale Hotel
Grab your sunscreen and relax by the dynamic pool at W Scottsdale Hotel. Hear their DJ entertaining from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hang out at their iconic rooftop WET pool with views of Scottsdale, enjoy cocktails and tasty cuisine by Shade Lounge, and with the pool’s underwater lighting and music, you’ll want to stay all night (the WET deck is open 24/7).
You can also lounge poolside on the Sunset Lawn, enjoy food and drinks from the poolside bar, or reserve one of their 13 private cabanas with plush W robes, slippers, flat screen TV, personal service and internet access for an elevated experience. Maya Day and Nightclub
Get ready to celebrate summer in style in old town Scottsdale at Maya Day and Nightclub’s Soundwave Pool Party Series. Dubbed “The best pool party outside of Vegas,” Maya pulls out all the stops with daytime pool parties, top DJs, bottle service and a unique atmosphere. Their DJ lineup includes Goldroom on May 19; CID, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Gryffin Memorial Day Weekend and Ocono on June 16. Their Night Swim Series features VAVO on May 20, Champagne Drip on June 10, QUIX on June 24, NOIZU on July 8 and Luca Lush on July 22.
Talking Stick Resort
Pack your sunglasses and swimsuits and get ready for a concert experience like no other. Plan a weekend at Talking Stick Resort for their Release Pool Parties on Saturdays and Sundays. Order drinks, shareable plates and entrees poolside or go to the grill with bar and table seating while enjoying great music and admiring Scottsdale views. This season includes notable DJs such as Croatia Squad + SNBRN on May 18, Yellow Claw on May 25, Steve Aoki on May 26, Dillon Francis on June 1, Jauz on June 8 and Galantis on June 15.
You can also rent a VIP cabana with seating, ceiling fan, misting system, television and personal refrigerator stocked with assorted nonalcoholic beverages. They also have canopy daybeds available for reservations, which feature a king size bed with and end table for drinks; VIP bottle service for cabanas and daybeds, or you can upgrade your cabana rental to include exclusive release sunglasses and hats and cabana decorations themed for your special occasion.
Hotel Valley Ho
The OH Pool has your ticket to relaxation, enjoy Session Saturdays with DJ entertainment from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. while you sip on craft cocktails. Or visit on Recovery Sundays with poolside DJ entertainment, a cryotherapy facial or brunch at ZuZu with their famous Bloody Mary + Mimosa Bar. Cool off and celebrate a relaxing day you had at the pool and stop at ZuZu to enjoy tasty dinner entrees and for dessert, one of their “Show Stopper” shakes, a creamy oversized milkshake topped with whipped cream and baked goods, flavors rotate monthly.

Lustre Rooftop Bar
Take in views of downtown Phoenix as you lounge at Lustre Rooftop Bar’s pool. End your day or start your weekend at their poolside Happy Hour, Monday-Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Hotel Adeline’s summer pool party series Liquid Sunshine is one of Scottsdale’s hottest places to relax this summer. Hotel guests and the public can enjoy live DJ entertainment, signature cocktails at Freestyle, the hotel’s pool bar and lounge and take photos on the inflatable floats every Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. And don’t forget to get a picture of/or with their WTF (Where’s the Fun?) yellow neon sign to capture the fun day relaxing at the pool. For Memorial Day and Labor Day holiday weekends, Liquid Sunshine will extend the festivities through to Sunday Funday.
