Altier Credit Union, headquartered in Tempe, has become Arizona’s first financial institution to deploy an In-Lobby Teller (ILT) ATM (Diebold Opteva 923). Members of the credit union will find Arizona’s first ILT ATM complete with a teller concierge representative at the newly remodeled Tempe branch location. The integrated ILT ATM provides advanced ATM technology and an available on-site Altier CU teller concierge representative for immediate member service and support.
Extending more advanced services to members, the Diebold Opteva 923 allows credit union members to conduct most of the transactions they would do at the teller line, with the option to drive their own transactions through a self-service option or speak directly to a live Altier CU teller concierge representative via a 2-way video on-demand connection.
This all-in-one in-branch ILT ATM terminal supports cash withdrawals, envelope free bulk check deposits and bulk cash deposits, balance inquiries, transfers and other teller-like transactions. In addition, there will soon be enhanced functionality through the two-way video concierge services that will enable members to complete various loan payment transactions.
Combined with support from Altier Credit Union’s member service representatives, the ILT ATM delivers comprehensive services to all members through real time technology, live staff membership service support and advanced banking technology- for all generations.

Diebold also promoted a smooth transition to the smart branch model, through Diebold’s advisory services team. The team held interactive training sessions with Altier Credit Union’s branch, teller staff and member service representatives helping them better understand this new innovative member experience.
