Avnet, Inc., a leading global technology distributor, today announced that it named Nicole Enright as its vice president of corporate human resources. Enright will be responsible for helping Avnet attract, engage, develop and reward the diverse workforce of Avnet’s information technology (IT), finance and legal teams. Additionally, Enright will manage Avnet’s human resources teams in the Americas. She will report to MaryAnn Miller, senior vice president, chief human resources officer and corporate communications for Avnet, Inc.

Enright joined Avnet in 2002, and brings a wealth of knowledge and success to her new role. She began her career at Avnet as a senior consultant, where she helped teams identify business opportunities and led process improvement initiatives to achieve results. She served as Avnet’s director of operational excellence in 2005, and in 2011, was promoted to vice president of Strategic Enablement Services, Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas. In this role, Enright demonstrated strategic and organizational agility, drove operational effectiveness and led change management initiatives to foster outstanding employee engagement and productivity improvements. She also managed the teams responsible for partner marketing, company events, employee communications, public relations, and partner and supplier communications. Prior to joining Avnet, she worked for a regional Avnet partner, as well as the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Enright has been recognized for her industry knowledge and leadership skills by industry publication CRN as a Power 100 Woman of the Channel in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. This designation is reserved for the highest-ranking women who exemplify the most sought-after leadership traits in their respective positions. She also received Avnet’s highest honor when she was presented with a Chairman’s Award in 2011, in recognition of her leadership role with several of the company’s large scale acquisitions.
