Locally based Babbo Italian Eatery is growing. The family-owned restaurant concept plans to open its ninth Metro Phoenix location in Goodyear, Ariz. in early 2019.

“We opened our first Babbo Italian Eatery in the West Valley more than 15 years ago,” said owner Ken Pollack. “We are excited to bring another dining option to this extremely busy part of the metro area.”

The 6,000-square-foot location accommodates 236 guests and features modern décor with dark blue booths, a mix of intimate and family seating as well as a full bar. Circular light chandeliers hang from the ceiling and the walls are adorned with artwork and patterned wallpaper that create a warm and inviting interior. The restaurant also has a private dining room perfect for parties of 20 to 74 for business events or family gatherings.

Babbo Italian Eatery opened its first location in 2002 in Glendale, Ariz. The restaurant offers Italian cuisine in a family friendly, casual atmosphere where you can enjoy fresh, house-made Italian food at a great price. The menu features an eclectic selection of classic and contemporary dishes, from spaghetti and meatballs to Neapolitan-style pizzas and its signature fresh-from-the oven focaccia bread served table side.

“We are growing but this is a family-run restaurant,” said Pollack. “We take great pride in each and every guest who walks through our doors. Everyone here is family.”

The new restaurant was designed by architect Jose Martinez at Form Design Studio.

The Goodyear Babbo Italian Eatery will be located at the brand new PebbleCreek Marketplace on the
